how how did everyone feel about the test? i just took it it was really easy.

it was so easy...i finished the FR questions in half the time and had to sleep for like 50 mins

yea it was incredibly simple... it would have been intersting if they had giving us a recursive question like a directory reader (to read subdirectories) because those get complicated :)

I got dominated on frq. Two frq questions actually.

what is the curve what do you have to have to get a 5?

i screwed up on the last question... because by the time i did part a, i realized i did everything in parts b and c -_-... lucky i had time to erase and fix it..

i dunno but im aiming for a 4

mc was harder than the free response in my opinion.

i second that....

when i saw some of the questions, i was like... screw this

i thought the test's MC were pretty simple but the free response (because I really haven't every LEARNED java) was difficult. I was struggling with what formulas to use and how to construct certain methods.

The curve for the past few years has been roughly 60 / 80

75%

I felt it was pretty easy for both parts. I prepped out of Barrons and it was really hard, so when I took the test, I was more prepared.

Curve for a 5 is about 70-75%

Watch out. Michael pham is using Barrons for the curve. Be aware that the Barrons curve will be more generous, since it is definetly harder.

Princeton Review also said it was around 70%

And PR isn't as hard as Barrons.

I think they base their estimated curves on past years

"Watch out. Michael pham is using Barrons for the curve. Be aware that the Barrons curve will be more generous, since it is definetly harder."

I disagree that Barron's would give a harder test but an easier curve. What would the point in that be? The entire Barron's philosophy is that if you can get a 5 on their practice tests and curves, you will most likely get a 5 on the real thing.

Dude, you guys are such noobs for taking the AP CS A instead of AB. I took AB and I believe I got a 5 hands down... I dont know, I think might of had a flawless performance (100%). I cant believe some of you guys actually bought pr/barrons review books to prep for this insanely easy exam.

Perhaps you had a decent teacher Tamirms... Some of us (myself included) had to self study this exam; it would be rather absurd to not buy a review book in such a case.

hah, i took the exam with no class and about 4 days of prep..of course im a programmer so that makes it all easier. Yet there was one question on MC i had NO clue on :( darn. I skipped one... prolly 100% on free response and not too bad on MC. Easy 5 i guess.

What did you take opitsweirdisntit? A or AB? I felt that the exam was extremely easy compared to what I was expecting, even though I had to self-study.

most computer science ap classes consist of playing video games the whole year. therefore, most kids that take the test have learned what they know on their own. i know i did. i'm hoping i did well today; the test was easier than i thought it would be.

i took A because i didnt have the time to read the case study in depth ... (or thats what i thought when i signed up for the ap)

I'm going to be actually teaching the Ap Comp Sci AB class as a senior at my school (something new & cool) so i could have probably taken it but watever.
