Alright, I decided to self-study for the AP Comp Sci AB test, but I've had very little time to prepare for the test. I've glossed over review books and some textbooks but I remember and understand little of the AB portion of the test. The A portion I have down pretty well.

So, with one weekend left to study, what topics should I focus on in the AB portion if I'm aiming for a 5?

Linked lists are easy. I would focus on knowing your heapsort (I still gotta do that lol) as well as your search trees. It's pretty much knowing how to use your reference guide after that. You only need a 25 - 30 on the MC coupled with a 20 - 27 on the FRQ to get a 5...since each part is worht 50 points and the exam is outta 100 (70 is the 5 cut off)

You gunning for AP Siemens? Well I hope you either a) have at least 4 exams that you got/will get a near-perfect score on or b) are a girl....else we're gonna have a head-to-head duel ;)

Know how to use sets and maps, know the sorting algorithms and their runtimes, know about trees (preorder, inorder, postorder), and know how to use iterators.

Yeah...I think so at least. Still, do Barron's and their practice tests and then take the 2004 AP exam...that's what I'm doing at least. I've got it planned out: tomorrow I'll finish reviewing the material (currently on queues) and finish all the practice problems. Sunday I'll take all the practice tests I can get my hands on, and monday I'll just....watch 24 and relax because Stat is a joke :D

Are Litvins practice tests good? I know I'm going to use it for last minute cramming, but I'm wondering if my Barrons tests will be enough?

also, piccolojunior, is 6 APs enough for Siemens? I think it's two winners per state if I remember correctly and I'm from Minnesota, so what are my chances?

I would know the case study adequately well. Yes they do give you the code, but you will not have to reproduce the code but rather tweak it to fit the question that they are asking.
