AP Computer Science, best book for assistance?

I've never been a very big fan of the sciences, though I have pulled my weight on science courses. My AP Comp Sci class is killing me though. I mean, I'm managing a "B" and all but I still need to get to an A- by the end of the semester (which is in mid-January). I think my weakness is getting a grasp on the basics and keeping up with the new material that's built upon those foundations.

What resources can I use to get some help here? My teacher is indeed helpful but I can't afford to go see him for help every time I need it. Do those Barron's/Princeton Review books help? How about online resources?

Barron’s usually help. Which basic topics are you struggling on? Like loops? Classes?

I have the Barrons and I like it. The last PR for comp sci was written in for the 06-07 exam, but most of it is still valid and relevant. That being said, there are TONS of free Java tutorials online.

My school bought my comp sci class the Barron’s books and it’s a Godsend. My teacher knows her stuff and everything, but there’s nothing like their step by step explanations and the way you’re told exactly what you will and won’t need for the test.
