Hey,

I'm in AP Computer Science A but am taking the AB test this year. I have the Barron's book, and read through this text called "Exposure Java" a month ago, covering most of the topics. However, I seem to have forgotten a lot of what I read. How difficult is the exam? Is Barron's enough if I haven't had formal instruction? The questions in the book are really hard though.

Thanks!

I'm in a similar situation. However, I've heard that Barron's books are generally harder than the actual test. I'm using the Barrons Comp Sci book and I've found it to have very tricky questions, even though i understand the material.

barron's tests are hard, but they do an excellent review of the material. I guess I can't talk really since I am taking AB after taking A last year....anyway, 5 steps to a 5 has easier tests....

Barron's is the way to go!!! It covers EVERYTHING you need to know for Comp Sci. Read through it and do all of the Multiple Choice questions and you can guarantee yourself a 5.

I agree with smder99... and don't go for the easier tests...
