im thinking of taking the course online since my school doesnt offer but i have a second thought because im thinking its going to be hard

I'm taking it right now. It's a new concept to me, and I definitely struggled to learn the basics (the concept of "class" took me a looong time). I find that reading the book (a lot) really helps on tests. As for programs, I tend to write out the process from what I know to what I want to find. My friends help a lot.

I took the easy ap's this year (in my opinion). I had the preconceived notion that science aps are going to be such a step up from honors classes. Naah, they're lame, mostly.

Tough classes are those in which you challenge yourself. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on english this past semester because 1) english is my weakest subject (contrary to my psat results -_-) 2)the teacher is intimidating 3) I think the teacher secretly hates me.

^ lol on the third one

Fluffy1: Are you sure the sciences are easy?

Try taking a practice test. The course can be deceiving sometimes...
(Sorry, it's just brother had a bad experience - 3 in Biology)

AP CS is not an easy class. Fun, yes! Easy, no! be prepared to work in this class. lots of things could be deceiving when u first try to comprehend it. You will understand all the concepts eventually.

I can't speak for physics but bio, chem and comp sci are easy classes for me at my school. The majority of our ap kids do get fives, so I think this just reflects my personal strengths as opposed to the teachers' weaknesses. English ap, on the other hand, I can't think about without flinching (oh the non-stop essays).

A note about bio. Our school's ap bio curriculum takes 4 semesters, yeah... I'm taking 1 and self-studying the rest. Side note: my bio teacher is amazing. (I was so gonna write he was so nice when I slept with him) I mean that when I traveled with him for science fair, he's really nice at night (still kinda creepy..). He would call and say good night and bring food etc.

I'm actually signing up for ap physics with trepidation because I've heard horror stories of that class. But how much worse can it be than college courses in the sciences?

^ that's creepy about sleeping with bio teacher but i know what u mean so ur okay
