I'm leaning toward majoring in English for undergraduate school, then applying to medical school to become a doctor.

I'm currently a sophomore. Most of my classes automatically follow a sequence, but I can choose one class for next year, and I will have the opportunity to choose three of my classes senior year. But those three classes do not include a world language or history, both of which I will be continuing with.

In short, I can choose one course for next year, one course for senior year, and one history course to take as a senior.

The APs offered are: Literature and Composition (this one is obvious), Macroeconomics, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics C - Mechanics, US Government and Politics, European History, and US History. I did not include the APs that I will not be eligible for or will automatically be enrolled in (will not fulfill prerequisite courses). Only macroeconomics, biology, chemistry, or US history can be taken as a junior at my school.

I was also interested in other classes such as Introduction to Humanities, Global Ethics, Linguistics, and Communications Media.

Basically:
1. What AP courses should I take? Should I take sciences even though I want to major in a humanities subject because I want to go to medical school as well?
2. Should I take: an elective that is more related to humanities/English (e.g. Introduction to Humanities, Linguistics) or an AP course that is more math/science?

Sorry that this was post was pretty long. Also, I apologize if this is in the wrong section.
