AP courses help...

I just recently posted my senior year schedule and asked for advice (and received some great advice :)). But, now I am skeptical about the classes I am taking. I want to go for the national AP scholar award and want to take the right classes for that award (so far I have a 3,5,5,5). If you could help me decide what classes to take, that would be great.
Here are the ones that I HAVE to take:
AP Calc BC
AP English Lit
AP Chemistry
Now, I need 3-4 more APs and need help deciding. Here are my options. Please do keep in mind the amount of HW I will have each night when deciding.
AP Stats
AP Psych
AP Econ (both)
AP Human Geo
AP gov (both)
I am leaning towards taking AP Econ due to the fact that you can study for one test in one semester (thus allowing me to get-possibly- more credits than if I were to take one of the others). Again, if you can let me know which ones to take, that would be great! Thanks!

Human Geo is a joke of a test…i don’t know how much homework your school would give, but i took the test freshman year and got a 5. If you’re looking for an easy 5 without a terrible amount of studying, human geo is for you.
I heard psych wasn’t too bad, either. i know people that have self-studied for psych and got 5s as well.

good luck!

@shrey96- So Human Geo is an easy class to self study for? What is Human Geo even about lol?

I wouldn’t say it’s too easy to SELF study for. there are a lot of terms you need to know and stuff…but i guess, those were a lot in FRESHMAN year. as a senior, i don’t know what you’re capable of…:stuck_out_tongue:

But if you want a description of human geo, check out the site. it was actually a very intresting class and usually extremely relevant to current events.

@Shrey96- hmmmm… thanks for the info. I do have one more question regarding AP Human Geo. How was the workload at ur school? Is there alot to prep for for the AP test? If it isnt too bad, maybe I can fit it in-- giving me a total of 7 AP courses. (AP Calc BC, AP English Lit, AP Chemistry, AP Econ (both), AP Human Geo, AP Stats, AP Psych/AP gov (both))… but idk

why would someone take the same AP course twice? For example, AP English in sophomore and AP English in Junior

There’s two AP English classes: Literature and Language

well say someone took AP psych in both sophomore and junior. Why?
