How does AP courses like bio and physics compare to the ones we got to take as premed recs? And if I am in AP bio, and have a B... will my first year be the same course, in which case I would obviously get higher taking it a second time?

lol Intro bio at Cornell was way harder than BioAP at my HS.

yeah, my APs as a rule were a joke compared to the college equivalent, which is probably why more schools are starting to refuse to give AP credit all together.

same as the above two at my school.

im taking ap chem right now, if im going to take the class again next year, should i take the ap exam?

Is the exam free? In the county I live in, all AP exams are paid by the school board. That was the only way I was able to take 9 AP's.

No, they're around $80 each. Still well worth it. The college credits I received from my AP tests saved me a semester or two worth of college classes.

i thought it was better to take the class again in college ...?

Is there a way to tell colleges that you don't want the AP credit and you want to take that same class again?

I've never heard of a school that forces you to use the AP credit if you don't want to.

Some state schools do. They want to get you out of there ASAP.

UCLA forces you to use your math and english AP credit
