AP credit and Core Designation

DS and I noticed that while American Gov. and Politics gives three hours of credit for PSC 101 and a core designation of SB, Comparative Politics gives three ours of credit for PSC 203 but there is just a dash in the core designation area. Does this mean that the credit will not apply toward any of the required core areas? Thanks for clarifying!

Comparative Government and Politics 3 PSC 203 3 –

That means that at this point, no Core Credit has been established. However, that doesn’t mean that Core credit won’t be awarded at some point.

Bama didn’t used to give credit for AP environmental science or for the second AP English, but now it does.

We also haven’t seen the newest Undergrad Catalog, so we don’t know if a change has already taken place.

Thank you…so, for planning purposes, it will just be elective credit? And perhaps in the future, it might gain a SB designation?

right. for now, just elective credit.
