If you used AP scores to satisfy some credits to Haas like Calculus or a computer science. Do they put that in your GPA like: 5=A 4=B 3=C How about college classes you took in high school. Do the grades you got in high school follow you forever.

I would tell you but I dont know. If anyone does please post it as I would like to know this question as well.

From what I know, UC Berkeley doesn't care at all what you did at a college class. It only cares, in terms of GPA, what you did at Berkeley.

As for AP classes, if I'm not mistaken, you only waive these courses. You don't actually get marked down as actually taking them. You're merely excused from having to take them.

so that means that, lets say, i took classes at uci. those courses wouldn't be have an affect on my berkeley gpa?

No, but if the class is a prerequisite or breadth requirement, you will need to list the grade you received in it on your Haas application (the same goes for AP grades, which would be listed as 5, 4, or 3)
