AP credit and ILR

If the AP credits are showing in the student center under transfer credits, does it ensure that ILR sees them and has credited them or are they just in the main database? The letter to new students from ILR said to send the AP report directly to ILR. Is that the case or are they just recorded electronically the scores at ILR?

If it’s in JTF you’re fine.

What and where is JTF?

Go to the cornell website, go to the search engine, type in JTF, and click the first link.

It stands for “Just the Facts”, it’s like the student reporting service. You’re son/daughter should have used it to schedule classes…

Go to “Transfer Credit Report” and see if her AP scores are listed or not.

Thanks as always. They were there. We just weren’t sure if ILR sees them because they asked to have scores directly sent to them. I still don’t get why you can’t take intro Micro and macro together? What other ILR rules are there that we just don’t know regarding what you can take. It is supposed to be a very flexible curriculum that we can mold to our interests but maybe not???

Actually I think ILR is the most flexible program I’ve seen at any college that allows me to take specialized classes while still having the freedom to take whatever electives I want.

I don’t think it’s a big deal that we can’t take both econ’s together, and that’s pretty much the only barrier I’ve run into so far.

JTF=student center, correct?

Roneal:
Are Ilries never allowed to take any 2 econ courses at the same time later on???

^^ No it’s just a Micro/Macro intro thing from what I understand.

Feral24: Yes, you are correct.
