I think I heard before that the admissions people prefer that prereqs be taken at a CC for a letter grade as opposed to fulfilling it with AP credit so is there any truth to this? And does anyone know where I can find what exact score I need to get on the AP Calculus BC exam to get credit so I don't need to take calc 1 and 2 in CC? I found that you need a 5 on the test to not take calc 1 for Haas but I can't seem to find it for the letters and sciences. Thanks in advance.

Ok 1) I got into Berkeley for Fall 2008 and used 5 AP classes towards REQS. It is true that a school wants to see a grade if it is a PREREQ for your major. 2) Advanced Placement Examinations

You used AP credit for reqs as in like IGETC and GEs, not prereqs? And how come it doesn't show what class the AP credit is given for? I was expecting something more extensive like UCLA's site: UCLA Undergrad Admissions: AP Credit - College of Letters and Science
