I think I heard before that the admissions people prefer that prereqs be taken at a CC for a letter grade as opposed to fulfilling it with AP credit so is there any truth to this? And does anyone know where I can find what exact score I need to get on the AP Calculus BC exam to get credit so I don't need to take calc 1 and 2 in CC? I found that you need a 5 on the test to not take calc 1 for Haas but I can't seem to find it for the letters and sciences. Thanks in advance.

Ok 1) I got into Berkeley for Fall 2008 and used 5 AP classes towards REQS. It is true that a school wants to see a grade if it is a PREREQ for your major. 2) [Advanced Placement Examinations](http://ls-advise.berkeley.edu/faq/ap.html)

You used AP credit for reqs as in like IGETC and GEs, not prereqs? And how come it doesn’t show what class the AP credit is given for? I was expecting something more extensive like UCLA’s site: [UCLA Undergrad Admissions: AP Credit - College of Letters and Science](AP Credits for Majors in the College | Undergraduate Admission)
