<p>Okay, so I got a 5 on BC Calc test and pass out of MCB requirement for Math 1a/1b. I wouldn't even take a math course at Berkeley but Im interested in med school, so I signed up for Math 16a/16b. Do you know if I can use AP credit to fulfill MCB requirement and still take Math 16a/16b for medical schools?</p>
<p>I asked an advisor and she wrote this:
"Students who duplicate AP credit with course work MAY have their AP credit deducted from their transcripts. If this were to happens you would not have the AP credit for the Molecular Cell Biology (Biochemistry) major."</p>
<p>Has anyone had their AP credit deducted because of "duplication." Sounds really stupid to me.</p>
