AP Credit Confusion!

I'm registering for AP exams and I had a question about the credits Duke will take. (I was accepted ED).
I know they will only accept 2 credits, and I am planning on majoring in Neuroscience, so I know I will definitely be using my Calculus AB/BC credits to bypass the math prereqs. I also already have 5 other credits, and will be taking the Statistics exam this year.

So, is there is any benefit to taking the English Literature exam?

On the website, it says that if I decide to graduate early, they will take up to 6 AP credits, so I am unsure if skipping this exam would be unwise. Thanks!

I would just take it so you have maximum flexibility. While they only accept 2 AP courses for credit, you can use as many as you want for *placement *into higher classes. Although AP English lit credit probably isn’t prerequisite for any course, so it might not be terribly helpful. They may also include it on your transcript even if you don’t get course credit for it, but I’m not sure how Trinity does it (Pratt has all APs listed on the transcript, but also accepts an unlimited number of APs…).
