<p>Can students who get a 4 or 5 on both the AP Language and AP Literature exams place out of both semesters of Freshman Writing classes if they are in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences? It doesn't really seem clear on Cornell's website.</p>

<p>call the registrar for your college, and ask them. I do think that you can place out of both for CALS, but maye not. Contact them for sure.</p>
<p>I'm pretty positive that at CALS just as in CAS you can only apply it for one semester. In CALS you can do it with a 4 or a 5 but in CAS you need a 5.</p>
