AP credit for some courses

Since some courses, such as the Reading and Composition courses or Biology 1A/1B, can be satisfied with AP test scores, would it be suggested to take those courses without regard to the AP score qualificaiton because those courses could possibly be more informative than the AP class?

For English, no; just use your AP credit to skip it, it’s just college English, unless you are in some English major.
For AP Bio…depends on what major you are after, if you are a science major, don’t do it; if not, use it as you like.
