AP credit when transferring

I wonder if anyone here (whether you are a college student, a parent, or a college admissions official) could help me, please! I have a few questions on how AP credits may be accepted by more than one college where I may attend. I understand that most universities and colleges give credits for AP courses taken in high school; however, can two colleges where you will enroll both award you college credits for the same AP exams you took? Here is my situation, and I am sure some students may be faced with similar issues. So, your advice and thoughts are greatly appreciated!

I will attend an in-state public university as an entering freshman this fall. The university has given me 40 college credits (with quarter system) for the 6 AP exams I took. Together with the real college credits that I have accumulated by attending the summer sessions at this university during past years, I am classified as a junior before I even begin my freshman year. Although this case looks good for me, I think I may have potential problems down the road when I apply for college transfer.

Question #1 -- Do AP credits eventually show on your official college transcripts? They are not yet on my college transcript now.

Question #2 -- If college X already gave you credits for your AP exams, will college Y where you will transfer to also award you college credits based on the same AP exams? It seems to me that college credits will not be given by two colleges for the same AP subjects to avoid “double dipping.” Does anyone have a similar experience?

Question #3 – I plan to apply for transfer as a rising sophomore early next year because my school does not have engineering programs. The reason why I will attend my school this fall is mainly to save college costs. I want to finish many lower division requirements at my state university where I do not need to borrow student loans. However, I think that having two many college credits under my belt may be counterproductive and may actually hurt my chance for transfer. Can any one share your thoughts on this concern please?

Thank you so much for your great help!
