<p>It differs for each college in Cornell, so yea, we can’t give you the specific details. Most of the time though, they require at least a 4</p>
<p>^ second riceboy’s statement about 4 or above on AP exam. they also take credit/ reduce amount of requirements if you do well on certain sat ii’s (specifically language i believe)</p>

<p>a 5 on English Language gets you out of at least one writing seminar in most of the schools. in that case you really gotta check out your particular school though.</p>

and I remember being able to find this info (for 07-08) before I even applied to Cornell or went on college confidential, so it’s not an advanced sort of skill.</p>
