AP Credit

"You may not take an equivalent course at UCSD for credit if AP credit has been awarded."

What does this mean? If I already have credit for, let's say, AP Biology, I can't take the equivalent course in UCSD? Or does it mean that if I USE AP credit on that, I can't take it?

Can someone please clarify this? I don't want to use ALL of the AP Credit I have. Thank you!

I m pretty sure it means that if you decide to take the credit; you cannot take the equivalent class.

That’s what I thought. But why would they tell you that? Isn’t it obvious that, if you use AP credit to be exempt from the class that you don’t actually take the class? Why mention this unless there’s a specific reason?
