AP Credit

So, I'm going to be a freshman at Michigan State next year and I have some AP credit that I sent them. According to their website I have 20 credits (8 for AP Euro, 8 for AP US, and 4 for English). However, I am going to major in finance and not history. Is that AP credit going to go down the tubes or are the credits only allowed for specific history classes?

I guess I'm trying to say, if I fill all of my required history classes like this, will I be able to take left over credits and put them towards other pre-req classes?

This is a question better aimed at your advisor at Michigan State.

Check the web site of your major department to see if they can be used for any major or breadth requirements. If not, then they just become generic credit units (which may be helpful if you find that you are one credit short of graduation after eight semesters, or if your school uses number of credits completed for registration priority purposes).
