I realized that I would be getting a lot of "elective credit" with my AP scores, but what does that really mean?

I know essentially 1/3 is G.E, 1/3 is your major, and the rest are electives to take. Would my ap credit help me double mjr or minor in anyway or is it just a good opportunity to graduate early?

it doesn't matter for me. i'm totally going to flunk physics next monday. UGHHHHH.

Some APs can help you place out of GE's-AP Art History and European History, for example, place you out of one category GE. Occasionally you can place out of courses that you need for your major and place you into higher-level classes-for example, I think AP Psych can place you out of Psych101 which lets you take more upper division courses. Some of the AP sciences plae you out of the beginning level sciences and let you go into the more advanced versions. I'm not really sure how useful elective credit is, although it does help if you want to graduate early...

id say just double major or minor in something =) elective credit is only for prereqs and graduation i think
