Will Miami cap the number of credits you can earn from AP scores?

I've visited that page before. I was wondering if there is a maximum number of credits you can earn overall, because that information is NOT on that particular page (or any other on the site, as far as I could see).

How can a 5 on physics C be worth only 3 credit hours, when a 5 on the EASIER physics B is worth 8? That makes no sense.

It looks like it is capped at 60 credits. I know S's roommate started with about 24 AP credits and jdmcool's S had soph standing as a frosh.
I found this link from the AP section of collegeboard website. http://www6.miami.edu/umbulletin/info/adm/ap.htm

It so obviously says it's capped at 60 credits

I sincerely apologize, my-3-sons! I've read that page about 80 times and it never once registered. How idiotic do I feel?

can anyone help answer what gpa Miami is giving for the AP credit? thanks.

I don't think they give a GPA, you just get the credits. Your GPA will be based on courses taken at UM. You may start with 15 credits but you will not have a GPA. Here are the credits that are awarded for AP scores.
