I just got back my AP scores and I have two questions. First, if one has more than the 16 credits from AP tests, do the extra credits just get thrown out? or do they count for SOMETHING? and second, on the columbia website Columbia College Bulletin , it says that getting a 5 in Calc BC is worth 6 credits, and then under the Excemptions columns it says "Requires completion of MATH V1201 or V1207 with a grade of C or better." Does this mean one only gets the 6 credits with completion of those courses? Or that one is excempt from other courses if the courses listed are taken? In other words I want to know if going in, I am guaranteed those six credits, or if I have to do something before I receive them.

Also since I'm here and on the subject anyway, as a sophmore I took a class that FDU recognized as a college level course and would give college credits for if the class was completed with an A (which I did). It also said those credits were transferable to certain other colleges, and Columbia was on the list of colleges. Do I have to go through some extended process to get those credits from FDU to Columbia? Is it probable that beauracratic shenanigans will make it not even worth it to try and get the credits, or should it be relatively straight forward?

Thanks ahead of time
