Does anyone know what happens if you have AP credits for the classes in an accelerated program? Do you skip those classes or do you take higher level of the classes. I was just wondering. Thanks

accelerated programs mostly tend not to give ap credits

im pretty sure neoucom (a six year program) gives AP credit, they just don't recommend it for science courses

TCNJ/NJMS program doesn't give credit for Bio AP...but i guess thats a given

um generally the accelerated ones like six or seven years allow you to use ap credit or else you have to take a lot of classes to finish in six years. But the 8 years one generally dont.

It depends on the prog, really.

Rutgers-UMDNJ gives credit for basically everything scored above a 3 - that's how I, and many others, finish the program in 6 instead of 7 years. It's not that I had a lot of credits coming in (only 31). Northwestern, I believe, only gives credit for, at a maximum, seven courses and you have to score pretty well. But, it makes no difference as you can only finish in 7 years.

I'm planning on taking as many credits as they'll give me to give me more time to concentrate on the harder classes
