I have been accepted to UChi and am currently deciding between it and another school.

If i choose UChi, is it worth taking these AP exams this year? Or should I get the refund?:

AP Calculus BC
AP Biology

(A side note: I already scored a 5 in Calc AB)
I am an econ major.

Bio, definitely take.

I would still take Calc BC if I were you, especially considering that you got a 5 on AB last year. Just keep in mind that anything less than a 5 on BC will not get you credit for Calc 2, and you already have the credit for Calc 1 (AB exam). Personally I did not take Calc AB last year but am taking BC and hoping to get a 5, but if I get a 4 that’ll be okay because I’ll still get credit for Calc 1 where in your case that credit would be redundant.

Hi Kotters, here is the official rundown of the AP credits that we accept for course or elective credit, which you may find helpful.
I’d advise taking Bio unless you’re interested in majoring in Bio because it will cut your bio requirement in half.
