AP Credits in NYU GSP

I was wondering if NYU GSP accepts credit for AP US History with a score of 4.

and also, im taking AP AB Calc this year and thinking about taking the test...if i get a score of 4 or 5, how much credit do i get for this? Is the studying in the end of senior year worth it? Or can i easily get by when i am in college?

thanks

i think NYU, in general accepts AP scores that are 4 or 5. you should get 4 credits for each AP score of 4 or 5.
I'm in CAS, so you might wanna verify that.
keep up your grades, you dont wanna slack off so much that they'll reject your acceptance, which happens to some ppl as you may know.
you don't get by easy in NYU, nah. you need plenty of effort, but its not a killer like some ppl describe it. i was told that if i'll get Bs i should be happy, then i heard that anything over than like a 3.0 is amazing for a freshman, but you know, i am getting As and A--s so far, but still, its not EASY.

In GSP you can get CREDIT for 4 or 5 on an AP test, but because GSP is GSP, you can't actually "test out" of any of the required courses

You receive credit for 4's or 5's but can only fufill your math and science requirement with a 4 or 5 on a few tests. These include calc, chemistry, and physics. The official list is printed at nyu.edu/gsp under the FAQ section.

yah im pretty sure English APs don't count to place u out of composition
which is dissapointing- does anyone know if you get ANY credit for it all??

anyone here in GSP?? How is the GSP Math class??

Anyone know if Gsp students receive credit for the AP language exam?

do you guys read former posts?

"In GSP you can get CREDIT for 4 or 5 on an AP test, but because GSP is GSP, you can't actually "test out" of any of the required courses"

Jaimelajolie, while this is true, the CAS does not give credit for any grade on the english language exam. Just curious as to what GSP does.

really? that's odd. not even credit hours?.....hm....i hadn't seen that anywhere....

Check the CAS website. It is infact true. I was wondering what GSP does. CAS of course gives credit for the literature exam, but not the language.

Hw important are AP Tests ...? I mean how much will they help for GSP?

.....did NOT know that! I could have signed up for AP Lit if I'd realized!!! I'm thinking that what holds for true in CAS is the same in GSP....CRAP!
