ap credits to test out of your major requirements?

for example can i use macro/micro econ ap credits to test out of them at UT if my major is business? businesss majors are required to take calculus, stats, and micro and macro to get there degree

you probably wont need them if you already have a credit for the class, which means you have already taken it

Here is a link to UT’s page about AP credit. If you made at least a 4 on your AP test, then you can claim credit. It should not matter what your major is. Ask your adivsor about it at orientation

My daughter has a minor in economics and was able to use her AP credits for the micro and macro. This might be okay for a business major. (?) If you were actually MAJORING in economics, I would say talk to your advisor first; they might want you to take the UT version of micro and macro.

isnt economics in another school not Mccombs? but idk

it is, but econ classes are needed as a degree requirement
