Hello. I am considering taking AP Computer Science Principles next year (sophomore year). Is this class “worth it” even if I don’t take another AP programming/computer science class for the rest of high school? Have any of you taken it and if so, what did you think of it? It’s a new class at least for my school.
Hello, I am taking AP CSP this year and I am finding it very easy. The tests are easy. We have projects, but they are very small and can be finished quickly and easily. It is also a very fun class. You learn a lot about cyber security, data, programming, how the Internet works, and so on. The class is worth it, as you learn a lot and you don’t necessarily have to take another programming class for the rest of high school. However, it is a good prep class for AP CS A.
It’s a great class to take if you want to learn more about the whole field if computer science, especially it’s applications.
