AP Econ

So I am planning on taking ONE of the AP Econs this spring semester online. Being that It'll be online, I'll have to practically teach myself. All my peers say that the teachers on the Georgia Virtual schools do not help.

I was wondering which of the two, Micro/macro, is the easier of the Econs. Also would you say that the said Econ course is possible to self-teach. For example I wouldn't dare teach myself AP Calc or AP Chem but I assume it wouldn't be as complex as these.

Finally, this would be my 7th AP and I am a junior. By the time I graduate I plan on taking 10 APs. Is this a good amount to take. I make A's in all of them and so far I have made 4's and 5's on all the exams.

Oh also, are Either of the AP Econs impressive to colleges. I know some APs tend to be more valued by colleges than others such as BC Calc would be higher than AP Euro or Psych.

Thanks (:

At some colleges, introductory economics is two one semester courses for micro and macro. If AP economics is accepted, each test would cover one of the courses.

At other colleges, there is just one introductory economics course covering both micro and macro. If AP economics is accepted, you need both tests to cover that one course.
