AP Econ

Hey i was accepted ED to the college and was wondering if anyone could answer a question I had about AP Econ. It says on the Penn website that getting a 5 on the macro and micro tests only gives you a waiver out of the respective econ classes at Penn, but it gives you no credit whatsoever. So my question is, is it worth the time and money spent on this AP test when it will give me no credit and probably only put me in a harder econ class? I mean, I have a really good teacher and I’m pretty confident I could get a 5 with some studying, but is it worth it? Hopefully some current Penn students can give some advice, but any comments are welcome. Thanks.

im gonna use my 5 in macro and get a 5 in micro to get out of intro level econ...i heard that intro level econ is not much different in high school than at penn and that it is a fairly hard course....the higher level courses may be easier...but im nto expert
