For my junior year, I plan on taking both AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics.
I was wondering how beneficial it would be to take AP Statistics simultaneously or take it my senior year or not take it at all.
I don’t necessarily plan on majoring in Economics or being involved in the mathematics/finance/business field, I’m just really interested in economics and will probably minor in that in college.
All 3 are useful classes for simply understanding the world you live in, regardless of what you might study or do professionally. Even if you end up taking them again in college, the exposure in high school could help. I say take all 3 if they fit into your schedule and aren’t keeping you from something else that’s fundamental. If you are considering econ in college, calculus will be helpful, so don’t take stats instead of that, for example.
