<p>Is it worth it to get the ap editions of texts like chem? Does it really matter, or is there even a difference between the special ap ed. and normal editions? I'd guess that not all ap students need the ap edition of whichever textbook to get a 5, right?</p>
<p>Often, the AP edition and the normal editions are the same content, just put in a different binding. The AP editions need to be used year after year in classrooms, so they are usually sturdier than the normal ones. </p>
<p>There shouldn’t be a problem using a normal textbook.</p>
