<p>seems like Language is more on rhetoric and has only one analytical essay, wheeas Literature is focused more on analysis and includes writing about a work you've previously read.</p>
<p>Language requires more detail, such as pulling specific words and quotes from a passage, whereas Literature is, as previously stated, more on analysis-- not as much about detail, but the overall meaning of a work.</p>
<p>lit has poetry and an essay on a book of your choosing</p>
