I've been heavily struggling with the AP Lang practice multiple choice exams, such as those from Barrons, in class practice, etc. (This also applies to my PSAT and SAT scores in critical reading). I always miss about 30-40% of the questions. When I read the explanations on the questions, sometimes I think, "oohhh okay... dang. How am I supposed to realize that?" or "What? That's such a biased opinion. That's not how I interpreted it."
I have no idea what to do anymore. I'm becoming stressed, fearing that I'm not going to get a 5, maybe not even a 4, on this exam.
I SERIOUSLY need help here.
How can I improve my scores on the multiple choice section? How can I interpret something the same way the book does, or think like the book does? Please please please, somebody help me out here.

650 views and not a single response. Thanks guys.

thinking the exact same thing. although, i’ve heard the actual exam is much easier for mc at least that the one’s in the practice books. definetly the one’s in barrons. just get some sleep :)

…how did you feel you did?

I got a 4! I’m so glad.
There were only four 5’s of the 100+ people at my school who took the exam, so I’m pretty content with my score. :)
