AP English Language and Composition

Two days till the test...I pretty much know nothing. What are you guys feeling? Any advice on how to do some last minute prep? How can I ensure success!!

haha.
my teacher basically doesn't teach us anything in class. i'm thinking i'll get a 3 on the test. if i'm EXTREMELY lucky, i might land a 4. i'm just gonna look over some things tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best.

my teacher doesn't really teach at all. I have done practice essays and MC, but what would be the best way to study?
All I want is a 3, I hate English

lol I have an A in the class, but my class is a joke.

I haven't even started prepping.. I think I will still pass it, but I just want a 4.

so...i looked it up, and supposedly, you can get half of the multiple choice right, and get an average of a 5 on your essays (not an ap 5, but the essay range from 1-9) and get a 3...so im feeling a little bit better now

My class was terrible, but I'm pretty good at the MC so I'm expecting a 4, maybea 5 if I'm lucky.

I can write pretty good argument essays.

I have not practiced multiple choice at all. I guess now would be a good time, huh? lol

ok, is it just me here people, or was that test the easiest shmeasiest test in like a billion years...i think yes.
booyakasha!! here comes my 4 and my acceptance to the college of my choice!!

feeling like a three. haha

maybe ill get lucky for that cuatro

steiner, you thought that test was easy??
the MC was pretty hard. the first passage threw me off, but it got a bit easier towards the end..
essays were okay though.
feeling around a three too (hopefully)

The first passage was annoying. I didn't like it. Also, I don't think I cared for the last passage either. I only omitted three questions though. Finished MC with about 5 minutes to spare.

Finished free response with like 30 minutes left, and everyone else was done. They give you way too much time for writing.

MC - easy, although i think i overthought a few and probably got a bunch of random ones wrong. The middle passages were really easy while the first and last were understandably drier and therefore harder to pay attention to.

FR - i didnt read the question for the second essay, just kind of went in my own direction, but it was well-written enough so i don't think i'll get a bad score--at least going by some of the sample essays i've seen. the last essay i don't really remember what i wrote but it wasn't drivel, just kind of disorganized.

i wish they returned them sooner...

Wth the first passage was so hard..

The test was hard. I was hoping for a 4.. but I would be happy if I got a 3.

I heard you need to get 40/55 multiple choice correct, and straight 7's on all three essays to get a 5.

I skipped 1 multiple choice and I like my essays - the topic for the DBQ was awesome! Something I spoke about with passion! It was a fun test - I might take it again next year to celebrate the completion of high school.

my second essay was really bad. i really liked the synthesis essay, so i spent way too much time on it and enjoyed writing it better. though the second one wasn't hard to understand, i couldn't think of anything to write so i went to the third one, and then did the second one. im really embarrassed about my second essay, but there's nothing i can do now.

i think on my third essay, i might not have been as equal in the two arguments as i could have been.

^ You didn't need to be. You had to discuss both but choose a pole.

There was so much to write for the rhetorical analysis essay. I think that was my longest one, and the one I most enjoyed writing.

I thought the exam was pretty fun, too. Call me crazy. It was a lot more enjoyable than calc and physics. XD

okay calc was fun, this sucked for me.

i sucked with time management on myy apush exam, so i knew better this time...still rushed essayy #2, but i know i passed this easyyy!

i love english...no memorization needed! whooo! no more pressure!
