Analysis was the best

sorry if this has been addressed before, but is it okay if we put the key issues but we kind of argued AGAINST space travel? gah, i’m really scared now.

bump! can someone please answer?!??!

I don’t think you were suposed to argue against space travel. You had to find the most important factors when considering space travel.

It looks like if you argued for or against, but developed your arguments on “Why?/Why not?” you should be fine. I think you just needed to make sure you discussed the main considerations-you could do it in an argument either way. You just had to have a well reasoned paper that explained why you would consider XYZ.

How did it all go?

5ed it, hooray!

gooood job!

hahah i haven’t been involved in this thread at all but really, awesome job.

I’m taking this class next year. Any tips for success? What do we actually do in class?

Wait this is when you get your grade by phone, right?

I got a 5!

And, DMOC, some of us were fortunate to get it in the mail already…

Seems like West Coast gets them before the midwest/East.

The “argumentative” is actually called an ADQ–Agree, Disagree, Qualify. You can choose any three of the stances and make full points.

Write like your life depends on it. It is so important to learn the different techniques well and a great way to do that (and help for the essay portion) is to do a lot of practice writing. My teacher had us writing essays left and right, all year. As well, do a lot of reading in contrasting styles and isms.

guys I have no idea how to study for this year

Does anyone know how the exemption works? I know theres two AP englishes at my school, literature and languange composition. Is it possible that if I pass either of them with a high enough score that I don’t have to take any sort of english in college? Depending on the major. If it helps any, the colleges I am thinkinging about is UT Austin and A&M College Station.

Those who got 5…
what book did you use?

I need help badly, I want to get a 5, yet I’m only scoring 4s-6s on my essays :/

I need help too. I missed 22 questions on a practice MC section. =/
