AP English Language

what is on this test?

I am taking SUPA WRT 105 and ETS 141 this year and my school says I can take the AP English Lang test, so what exactly is on the test and should I get a review book for it?

Yes, all you need is Cliffs AP English language guide. I get 9s all the time on the essays. Just learn the terms in the cliffs book and try to memorize about 200 impressive SAT words for the essay. Practice the MCs for a higher score.

I dunno... if you are good english student then you probably don't need to study. it is like the sat reading section but alot more dense... and there are three essays, so it's not a big deal if you don't think you did that great on one. i didn't study for it or anything and i did fine. if you really want to guarantee a good score, you can try doing some review, but i'm not sure how much more it will help than just... english classes.

I took the AP Lang without a class or review book and got a five. If you're good at writing and reading, it's pretty easy.

yea, im in AP Language and Composition now

its a pretty easy class, don't know about the AP exam though

seems easy from the practice ones i've taken

i don't know why you're worrying right now. it's in MAY. cliffnotes <--me no likee...I don't like the format & it tends to have misttakes. I actually didn't like any of the prep books for AP Lang... I would suggest doing 1 or 2 practice tests the week before...ask your teacher for them.
