I'm gonna start self-studying ap english lnguage and composition. I write very well, but don't have an exensive reading background. I have a few questions. I'm in Junior HOnors English, but we basically do nothing in class. So,

1.) how should i go about self-studying this?

2.) What books are the best? Barrons, Cliffs, Princeton REview, or Kaplan??

3.)What about a reading list, needed for english LANGUAGE and should i analyze the books, like ith sparksnotes?

4.)which ones did you do in you AP english LANGUAGE class, and do you recommend it? (ie, good for test)

5.)Also, which review books haave the most accurate tests?

6.) any tips for the test?

Thanks 4 this!!!!

Well, that would depend on your writing level, I suppose. How well is very well?

I can make connections in writing, writing is probably at a college level. I'm good at language, but my school doesn't offer the AP english language class. I really want/need a 5, though. Got any tips?

Make sure you know the terms...diction, rhetorical strategies etc. they show up on the mc & are supposed to be recognized in your essays (ex. hyperbole, parallelism, etc...we learned abt 200 diff ones)
