AP English Lit or AP Physics C?

For next year I'm already taking AP Calculus BC and AP US History. I can take on more AP and I'm between AP English Lit and AP Physics C. Although I am better at math/science than English, if I take AP Physics I need to take a regular English class. On the other hand if I take AP English Lit, I can take Honors Physics. Which AP classes should I take?

Dont you need 4 years of English in high school for college?

In public schools, it is usually not a choice to give up English after 4 years but I assume you are going to a private school.

At my school 4 years of English are required. My school only offers 3 honors English classes which It took in 9th-11th grade. So this year I have to take a regular English class or AP English Lit. This schedule is for my senior year.

Am I missing something here?

If you can take a regular english or AP English Lit, wont you automatically choose AP instead of regular? At which point should nt it be just a question of AP Physics C or not AP physics C since you ARE required to take English no matter what and AP is always a better choice than regular?

But my school restricts you to take only 3 AP classes a year, so the question is

AP Physics C and regular English

OR

AP English Lit and Honors Physics

Sorry, I guess I should have read that in your meesage and not just the title.

If you are applying to engineering/MIT, take Physics C. If you are applying to Ivies, take AP English.

Frankly, the third option is to go fight the system if you can. If you feel you can take on the load, no reason the school should restrict you to three APs.
