Wow that was easy. I’m hoping for a 5

@DMOC - you’re right about BS’ing. In AP Lit BS’ing will only scrap you what, 3 points? In history APs you can get a bunch of points through BS though.

Brave New World FTW!! so happy i just read in and it was fresh in my mind

Multiple Choice was pretty good, I probably missed around 3-5.
First essay- pretty good
Second essay- wrote this last, so not the best quality, but ok
Third essay- pretty good- Handmaid’s Tale

I hope I got around a 4
My only problem was that my essays were pretty short but I write veryyy small

My God I wrote so much for Essay #1 and Essay #3. Essay #1 was 5 pages single spaced, Essay #3 was…4 single spaced I believe. Essay #2 was just 2 single spaced. Hate that essay. Horrifying. I bombed it I’m sure.

I did essay 2 last, liked it the least. For essay 3, I did Things Fall Apart. Then, I got out, looked at my study sheet and realized I wrote Efeundu instead of Ezeudu. UGH.

The first essay was my favorite.
The second was waning in quality.
The third was…questionable.
Felt I only missed 3-5 on the MC too.
Hoping for a 4. We shall see how the curve goes.

^ But if everyone thought it was pretty easy, then the curve’s not going to be very generous, is it? :(

^ Correct.

Millancad, I did the same novel! :D

That was very, very easy. I’m sure I got a 5. : D Woooooot.

Also, lmfaoooo, my class has this whole huge joke with the word “wanton,” our teacher even bought us pencils that say “I love wantons” (yeah, we know, improper use of the word) on them to take on the test, and wanton was on there THREE times.
Mad funny.

Also, I wish I remembered Handmaid’s Tale! I read it like two years ago though… Anyone else do Of Mice and Men?

dude i didnt think it was easy at all and i’ve been getting straight 5s on my practice tests. agh. i wrote about hamlet in my third essay btw, for whoever asked.

what did you guys say for the second one?

I had no idea what the word wanton meant! >:(
1st essay was good.
2nd essay was really good.
3rd essay was ehh. Didn’t read any book that pertained to the prompt really so I used Huck Finn

Yeah, the open essay was definitely more specific than normal.

i dont think the curve is goin to be harsh
60.3% passed with a three in 2008

MC seemed easier than normal, first two essays were surprisingly straightforward, and the last essay was more specific than normal as someone else said (Anna Karenina). Probably made a 5.

I screwed up on the last essay T_T. I forgot to write how it contributes to the meaning of the novel in all of my supporting evidence. I just kind of put the meaning in one huge paragraph. Do you guys think I will get credit for this?

MC was a joke.

Essays? HAHAHA. I don’t even want to know. The first was fine, the second was a disaster, and the third was a mess. I used Jane Eyre – my first paragraph had plot summary, so then I went extremely philosophical and meaning orientated in the second, realized that I was going against my thesis and tried to balance it out in the conclusion. Overall, I’d say my essays were steady 6s. I was hoping to do better, however.

Ugh. I kept thinking of wonton. I couldn’t concentrate on those questions.

Wow easiest thing of my life.
MC - complete joke
Essay 1 - modernism through point of view and structure
Essay 2 - duality through syntax and opposition
Essay 3 - Heart of Darkness
