ap english

Do colleges take into account of self study ap's even if they are offered at school
its because the teacher that is teaching it absolutely hates,me,and I,feel that I would do better if . I studied myself..

I think AP English is one of the AP that needs feedback from teacher and classmates. I am not sure if self studying is a good idea.

no, colleges do not take into account self study.

Yes, they will note that you are not challenging yourself by taking a class that is available to you. Oh, you meant do they view it positively? No.

As noted upthread, you really need feedback on essays to do well on the AP Exam.

From my experience, the class is utterly useless for the ap. Idk if it’ll reflect well for apps, try to take another ap in that time period to justify it?

is this english lit or english lang? lit I have no experience with (but I’m assuming that it would be beneficial to have a class), but lang could easily be done without a class as it’s mainly logical, coherent writing that’s required is all

As has been mentioned here many times, except in unusual circumstances, colleges value the class, not the test. Self-studying for the test rather than taking the class when it is available is likely to highly discount the value of the AP in most college’s opinion.
