<p>My friends have been telling me that if you're not naturally good at english the AP english test is going to be really hard... how true is that??? Can somebody give me a general idea of what it is like. Preferrably people who have taken the test. thanks '</p>
<p>Not true at all. I’m asian and I’m horrible at english yet I ended the class with a 96. I also got a 4 on the AP exam (which is really good for me because I’m not an English person). I think you should give it a shot. English is one of those classes that require effort in order to succeed. You don’t have to have an innate ability to do well in this class or the AP exam.</p>
<p>Also, the AP test has a multiple choice passage section and 3 essays. The 3 essays are extremely easy. Just go over literary techniques for the rhetorical analysis essay. The multiple choice wasn’t that bad at all coming from someone who isn’t the best at english. Do not overthink the answers. The answers are directly stated in the passages. I also didn’t have trouble with time either during the test so I think you can do it! Good luck!</p>
