<p>You should go with Smarty Pants (it's the name of the prep book..lol) for APES. I used that book only and got a 5.</p>
<p>As for whether you need a textbook, it's really up to you and how much you know. If you have Smarty Pants and the ecology part of AP Bio down, you shouldn't need one.</p>
