Hi CCers!
I have a few questions about AP European History and AP Environmental Science. I've heard from some that both subjects were rather boring, tedious, and the homework load was ridiculous, but others say they were a lot of fun. What was your experience with the two? How hard were they?
Would you recommend AP Euro or APUSH? Which one was easier, and which one was more interesting?

As I have yet to take AP Environmental Science or AP US History, I can’t answer on those classes. I’m taking AP European History right now, though. I wouldn’t describe it as boring and tedious, but, it’s a lot of homework (reading, mostly) and lots of projects in-class to help us memorize people, dates, etc. My class may not be like your AP Euro class because every teacher has the option of teaching the class differently. If I were you, I’d ask students at your school who’ve already taken the class and then go from there.

I’ve taken all of them
AP Enviro - my class was TONS of fun, everything was easy to learn, and it wasn’t too much work
AP Euro - decent amount of work, and it will probably suck if you don’t enjoy history
AP US History - much easier than Euro, but less interesting

It really depends on your teacher and how they teach. Ask people at your school how the workload and overall class was for both subjects. From what I’ve heard Environmental is easier than Euro.
