Hey, does APES look good to colleges?
I took AP Bio last yr, and currently taking AP Physics this yr
and I'm not sure what to take next yr (senior yr)
The thing is, I am not goin to be a science major... I am hoping to major in Law. Would taking APES over AP Physics C be okay?

Are you currently taking Phys B or C? If you are taking B, then your question pertains to next year. The classes for APES and Phys C are not really equivalent. Phys C is miles harder than APES. How much you get out of each class will also depend on how much you like the subject matter. I'm much more of a biology/ecology/current events kind of guy, so I gravitate towards APES. Ignoring other factors, which one would you prefer to take?

Now of course there are other considerations. Because Phys C is so much harder, an A in that will look much better, whether or not you want to pursue law. Also, at many schools APES is a one semester course, while Phys C is all-year. In that case specifically, I would recommend the Phys. You intended major shouldn't dictate your course choices in high school and I don't think that it really matters here.

If you've already taken AP Bio and you are taking AP Physics B this year, take whatever you want next year. Your credentials are solid.

yea, your credentials are straight. don't worry about taking APES next year, it will look good.

Hey everyone!
yeah, I am taking Physics B rite now
Registration for the next school yr is due Tues.
