thanks :)

Was that the practice 2008 AP Exam or the real released 2008 AP Exam?

what were some of your general impressions? I thought the open ended questions were particularly difficult, especially the last one.

I DID NOT like the 2nd FRQ… and the 4th one was a lil iffy…others were fine!

I thought they were just extremely…time consuming. I was writing until the last second…anyone else mention the near-nuclear meltdown in cc. bnh by

The MC was a breeze. The Crash Course book proved helpful for studying, but in all honesty, I think I could have scraped by without studying.

I’m generally pretty good about staying up to date on current events, so the prevalence of h*********ing in the news made answering that question fairly easy.

I thought the 2nd question was tedious, but once you perform the first calculation the rest come much quicker.

I don’t think I did quite as well on the third question, but I still think I picked up a few points. Same goes for the last FRQ.

Considering I had a teacher who just showed movies the entire year, skipped over parts of the curriculum, didn’t have us write a single essay the entire year, etc. I think I did pretty well.

Whoops! Sorry, kind of…butt-responded…I meant to ask if anyone else mentioned Japan as an example for the last part of the fourth question? Negative consequences of nuclear energy or something like that?

The MC was surprisingly easy, actually.

a question i was stuck on? it went something like this: an urban water cycle borders a nearby
forest? the question asked about the water cycle of the nearby forest. i put more infiltration but i could be totally wrong.

Yeah, I used the Three Mile Island meltdown and the ***ushima Daiichi disaster as potential disadvantages to nuclear power. Loved FRQ 1, though!

@ssummas3 yeah I think it was more infiltration.

What were the 4 FRQ’s in order?

I think the 2nd was the one about the school and know the last was about wetlands but which of the other two were which?

The 1st one had to do with hydraulic mining and the third about pesticides and farming techniques

There were a few tricky questions, but by and large, easy (definitely the easiest AP test I’ve taken so far). The math was super easy as expected. I definitely should have gotten a 5.

Guys, you need to be careful. We can only discuss the FRQ questions in 48 hours. We can’t even discuss the MC questions. College Board looks for people on College Confidential and Yahoo Answers, and have the power to cancel the scores of those giving too much information. Just letting you know.

lol tell that to the hundred people on the ap psych thread that have about 40 pages of mc answers posted…college board has no way of finding out and they cant really enforce it

I didn’t think it was that bad! I failed that one section about scrubbers/catalytic converters etc but other than that it went better than expected (considering no studying). Hoping for a 5
