now I do realize that AP Environmental is probably the most crap and easiest AP exam.. ever ;) I just finished taking Honors Chem this year and biology last year and so my teacher is just saying to take the test.. but all she gives me is just the sample questions packet and thats it! Anyways, I know there are alot of prep books out there, so for any of you guys that have taken this test before, which books did you use? which are actually the best and help you the most?

I have no clue, but in case you haven't seen- http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764121618/qid=1113368345/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-4051517-4038264?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

The Barron's book received terrible cutomer reviews.

"This book is filled with useless information that is not on the ap test" -a quote from one of the customer reviews on the Barrons book.. I do find it funny how all the Barrons prep books make the prep ridiculously hard, all the problems in their prep books are just meaninglessly difficult.. so I guess Barrons is cut lol.. how about say Princeton Review (I think that they do have a somewhat decent rep for prep books) and I've also heard that the Kaplan books just plain suck too

get the REA book, its the best.

oceansheaven, there aren't any AP Env Sci books for PR or Kaplan.

i actually canceled by ap environmental science test yesterday, as it has one of the lowest grade distributions. I first opted to take it when I took the sample multiple choice of the collegeboard, which were RIDICULOUSLY easy compred to the actual test. If you are starting to study right now and plan to take it in 3 weeks, forget it, you won't get a 5 ........MAYBE A 4. If for next year you are taking it you definately have a good shot

I would've gotten like a 2 if I hadn't used the Barrons book... I came out of the test really confident that I did well and when the scores came in it was true. No one else in the class did well but I was the only one who studied online and with Barrons. ANY prep book is better than NO prep book...

wow.. well I took the review questions, and just ordered the REA book, planning to take it in three weeks.. so you're saying that I can't get a five on the test?? is it really that hard, it doesn't seem like it :

oceansheaven take a diagnostic test and you'll see how hard it is lol !

haha.. okay.. how do I exactly take the "diagnostic test"?? lol ;)

anovice, did you find any part of the Barron's totally ridiculous to study? I'm using it right now and I'm contemplating skipping some sections ... ie "Types of volcanic eruptions." Suggestions, or should I study it all? (Keep in mind the limited time ...)
