AP Environmental Science?

I'm going into my senior year and I just got my class schedule. I am currently signed up to Physics. Regular physics. I am contemplating if I should switch into APES. Would colleges prefers to see physics on my transcripts? Do you think that it would be a big deal to switch into APES.

bump!!!

Colleges mostly prefer to see physics on your schedule as even regular physics is usually deemed more rigorous and important as a core science than APES.

APES is considered one of the easiest AP classes anyways.

I’ve been in APES for 2 days. So far so good, there’s a good amount of textbook annotations and a couple small assignments. It seems more rigorous than a regular class for sure. But so far I also like it a lot, it jumps into the topics pretty quickly.

My teacher also described it very well. She said it is easier than many AP classes but it’s still an AP class. I think that’s fair, in some other places it might be absolutely no work but here it seems like a real AP class

Hmm, a lot to think about. So, hypothetically, even if I got an A in the class and a 5 on the exam, taking physics would still be more favored??

I do want to take APES, mostly because it would help my GPA, but I don’t want to hurt my chances when the time comes for admissions

or applications, excuse me

Don’t take APES…I took it junior year and it was horribly easy…please take regular physics…I made a mistake not taking it… :/
