My school just recently offered AP Env. and i have no idea what the class is like. Could someone please give me a general overview like:
how hard the AP Exam is
How hard the class is (i know this is school specific but just tell me how it was in your school)
Whether or not it is worth taking

<p>It is not very similar to AP Bio. Ecology makes up less than 10% of AP Bio and AP Env Sci is all about Ecology.</p>
<p>Nah, it's not like AP Bio really. I took them both last year. I actually took part of a (worthless) class online and then quit the class and self-studied the rest. I think the test is okay, not super hard. A lot of common sense involved. Get copies of previous tests and study from them. Hmm. you do learn a lot about ecology and the environment and whatnot. I'd say its a pretty easy 4 or 5 on the AP.</p>
<p>i took the class this past year and it's like ap bio in the sense that it's mostly memorization and less application of concepts. (whereas physics/chem is more math and application). i didnt think the test was hard at all but apparently the national median/mean grade for the ap exam is quite low.</p>
