AP environmental science

I'm planning my senior year schedule, and I was wondering how bad it would look to an Ivy League school if next year I took apes instead of another science class like chem or emag if all my other classes next year will be ap

I'm just trying to figure out if taking apes as a slack course would hurt my chances pf admission

Normally I’d suggest swapping APES for a more challenging AP science, since you’d like to go Ivy. However; if all of your other classes are AP, and if you’re a sane human, another difficult course could prove to be extremely overwhelming.

If you think you can handle the work, take a harder science. Otherwise, just take APES. It’s still an AP.

(Coming from a current APES senior) :)

i take ap physics c, ap calc bc and apes… while apes is easy, it’s the most funnest ap class IMO out there. take it or you’ll miss out.

right, well i’m taking calc bc and physics c mech this year, so i don’t know what to do

APES is probably the easiest yet dumbest AP class ever. I’m taking 2 Science AP classes (that and Bio) and AP Bio covers most of the stuff within a month. APES also has some pretty biased stuff in there as well. In my book anyways, the author continues to preach a conservationist outlook.
